David Halvorsen

I'm David Halvorsen, a research associate and student mentor at the SENS Foundation.

I'm currently building my understanding of rejuvenation biotechnologies as a researcher at the SENS Foundation. The age-induced functional decline of various adult stem cell niche populations appears to play a role in the development of wide range of diseases. My research interests revolve around the development and eventual large scale production of cell-based therapies to treat these pathologies. I am currently reviewing graduate bioengineering programs that would prepare me to work in this exciting new area of research.
